World Environment Day 2018

November is Environmental Awareness Month by virtue of Republic Act No. 9512 signed on Dec. 12, 2008.
The law says the promotion of national awareness on the role of natural resources in economic growth and the importance of environmental conservation shall be done through environmental education.
Environmental Awareness is being aware of the natural environment and making choices that benefit the Earth rather that hurting it. We are slowly killing our world, we are nor just aware of it. We have to help the earth. We need to know the importance of our environment.

Children's Month

Children’s Month is an activity conducted every November annually that commemorates the adoption of the Convention of the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly. Children's Month is a commemorative date celebrated annually in honor of children, whose actual day varies by country.

"Kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan" Dr Jose Rizal once said. So why would we be violent to childrens, instead of making them feel safe? We need to stop the violence not just with the childrens, but with everyone because as of now, violence is stepping up. We need to stop cause it does not do good to us. We should love the youth, not the other way around. Sexual exploitation among childrens are now rising uo so we need to helo them. We need to tell them to enjoy the life of being a children, but not with the exploring things that is for adults.

Childrens should know the limitations and for that, we need to stand, and help them to understand the things that they need to understand.

Values Month Celebration

Did you know, that Filipino Values Month is celebrated during November? Values Month is to celebrate good, unique Filipino values. In fact, it is to measure the effectiveness and to help each other, create good moral.

The Filipino value system or Filipino values refers to the set of values that a majority of the Filipino have historically held important in their lives. This Philippine values system includes their own unique assemblage of consistent ideologiesmoral codesethical practicesetiquette and cultural and personal values that are promoted by their society. As with any society though, the values that an individual holds sacred can differ on the basis of religion, upbringing and other factors.

For me, the one characterstics of the Filipino  is that the bond of the families or being family oriented.  Not just like in the Western countries, young Filipinos who turn 18 are not expected to move from their parent's home. Like if their parents are old, they will take care of them and doesn't want to send them to the Home of the Aged. Another one is being a God-fearing. It amazes me on how Filipinos value God, or the Creator. On how Filipinos appreciate everyone.

Filipino's values are amazing. We need to create good morals too.

Languages play a crucial role in the daily lives of people, not only as a tool for communication, education, social integration and development, but also as a repository for each person's unique identity, cultural history, traditions and memory. Despite their immense value, languages around the world continue to disappear at an alarming rate.

The United Nations declared 2019 The Year of Indigenous Languages (IY2019) in order to rise awareness of them not only to benefit the people to speak these languages, but also for others to appereciate the important contibution they make to our world's rich cultural activity.

The theme for this event is "Indigenous Languages matter for sustainable development peace building and reconciliation". This is indeed helpful for our world. For me, this means strenthening the bond of each countries in our world.
